Standard Dimir mill deck. I want to utilize their grave any way possible and control anything they have on the field. What could I add/remove to make it more dangerous?
Deck Breakdown:
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver
- Mills bit by bit. The -X ability helps put their creatures under my control.
Clone
- If they have a creature that i like lot and would be a powerful asset, 4 mana is all it takes to have one of my own.
Consuming Aberration - Mill, mill, mill!
Diluvian Primordial - This comes really handy when facing against multiple players. one instant/sorcery from each grave to cast with out paying? Sweet
Duskmantle Guildmage - I put him in for his 3 cmc ability. helps kill someone fast with all of the heavy milling.
Elixir of Immortality - This is for when I have used up a lot of my spells or if I am facing another mill deck. Hope to match up.
Jace, Memory Adept - Jace, enough said.
Lazav, Dimir Mastermind
- With all of the cards going to the grave, there is bound to be a good creature that Lazav could become.
Liliana of the Dark Realms - Not as intimidating at first, but with her final in combo with
Mind Grind
... Good by library.
Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker
- one of the key flyers in this deck and helps mill like no other when I see an opening.
Nighthowler - His bestow ability helps boost up Lazav and/or Mirko Vosk to make them that much harder to kill.
Phenax, God of Deception - Not as much action as the rest but when he hits the board with every buffed from graveyards, the deck is the next thing to go.
Psychic Intrusion
- For when you put a card in the grave or is in your hand and I like it, I want it.
Everything else should connect right into the deck idea. What could I do to add more control and manipulation? Thoughts and suggestions are nice.
