The traditional Megrim deck ran a lot of hand control to keep card advantage while hacking away small chunks of your opponent's pathetic husks. But that archetype ran into problems when the opponent dropped a little early board control, as once the opponent begins topdecking, you lose your source of damage.

This Megrim deck twists the archetype by making your opponent draw the cards they then discard, allowing you to always have a threat of massive damage (assuming your Megrims and Liliana's Caress don't get disenchanted). Cards like Dark Deal, Magus of the Jar, Careful Consideration, and Wistful Thinking become your heavy-hitting burn spells (sometimes with a little tactical advantage), while Kaho, Minamo Historian, Perplex, Recoil, and Mana Leak will hopefully hold off your opponent's threats. Perplex can also grab some needed cards.

I got the idea of this from a guy who was really good at playing mind games, and the way he ran it was using its potential massive damage as a defensive deterrent. He also ran some Mindslicers, Howltooth Hollows, and Cruel Ultimatums. His build was a bit more competitive, and I've only maybeboarded those cards in case I want to turn this into something less quintessential to the revamped archetype.
