I got the Jeskai prerelease box and decided I wanted to make a Jeskai standard deck. This deck is supposed to be prowess aggro with some control to help. I'm hoping to make this a somewhat competitive deck that I can take to my local card shop tournament and do alright. The main goal is to overwhelm the opponent with Narset, Enlightened Master, casting Rush of Battle or Flying Crane Technique for free, boosting the prowess creatures and hopefully gaining some health with Mardu Hordchief from Rush of Battle . Mantis Rider and Jeskai Windscout will widdle away at the opponents health if they don't have reach or flying. Jeskai Charm can be used as removal, more damage, or a way to gain lots of life quickly. Then there's Mindswipe for a counter and Jeskai Banner for a little more mana. Warden of the Eye can bring back any noncreature spell from the graveyard. And lastly, the mana is pretty simple. The color cost for all the spells is evenly split so I just added 4 [[Mystic Monastery] and 2 of each double color land. I haven't worked out a sideboard for this yet, but I am going to soon. This is my second attempt at making a standard deck so I really need feedback and/or suggestions. What do you guys think? Will it all fit together and work okay? Is Narset being used properly? Is the mana curve alright? Is it capable of competing with other standard decks? Any help is really appreciated, thanks! :)
