Najeela, the Blade-Blossom sparks the flames of battle!

What makes the Blade-Blossom stand out is her WUBRG color identity that immediately gives access to several enablers. Our main goal is to quickly cast the commander as soon as possible to begin generating a massive board state of 1/1 White Warrior tokens and activate her ability for infinite combat loops. Though the deck is capable of consistently threatening turn 4 wins, the Blade-Blossom will power through against stax and cripple plays against even the most interactive board.

Notable Interactions:

  • Infinite Combat on Turn 2: If we are fortunate to have the right cards in our opening hands, we can get the W by turn 2. Turn 1: Play three 0 CMC artifacts and a land: Ancient Tomb- Jeweled Lotus, Lotus Petal, Mox Opal. Tap Ancient Tomb, Mox Opal, and sacrifice Lotus Petal to cast Faeburrow Elder. Sacrifice Jeweled Lotus to cast Najeela, the Blade-Blossom. Turn 2: Must have a land drop! Cast Spined Thopter and Vault Skirge for their mana cost (4 damage total) and tap a land and Ancient Tomb. Faeburrow Elder now taps for to activate Najeela, the Blade-Blossom's activated ability of multiple combat turns.

  • Infinite Combat - Nature's Will: As long as we have lands that produce , Nature's Will active on the board, and at least 1 creature able to deal combat damage; infinite combat is bound to happen. Additionally, Nature's Will taps opponents lands thereby protecting us from successive combat phases.

  • Backup Win-Con: The power of Thassa's Oracle to win out of nowhere should not overlooked as it only cost . Simply cast Thassa's Oracle, hold priority and respond to the trigger by casting Demonic Consultation to exile our entire library, and win when its ETB trigger resolves.

Whether we swing away to build an unstoppable army - or just go infinite and win on the spot - feel the power of Najeela, the Blade-Blossom's wrath.
