Salubrious Snail's Xyris deck slightly adapted, but still mostly focusing on buff spells.

Mostly built around doing politics and asking, "Who wants cards?" We'll be giving value to others while we ramp, with Rites of Flourishing, Howling Mine, Ghirapur Orrery, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Collective Voyage, etc.

The group hug pieces, as well as a lack of wheel spells, keep a target off of your back until it's too late. Jace's Archivist and Winds of Change excpected because you can politic and give someone more cards than they ended up with, or get them out of a dud hand.

A few utility creatures to keep drawing cards and ramping. Chasm Skulker is an insane blocker for this deck, always a must play.

Once Xyris hits the field, you have enough buff spells to give someone lots of cards, or just to protect him on someone else's turn. You should be able to start generating lots of snakes pretty quickly after this.

Having no max hand size is really nice and happens pretty often with the amount of draw you're generating. Even without the effect, you should always have enough buff spells, lands, and a win con or two after discarding down to seven.

Banner of Kinship, City on Fire, Second Harvest, Cerebral Vortex are all pretty good win cons, but more often than not you can buff Xyris enough to kill with commander damage, especially after smacking people here and there all game, then clean up with a bunch of snakes.
