Hello, everyone! This is my first foray into MTG Deck Builder, so I would appreciate any tips!

This deck is based around two infinite combos, both featuring Midnight Guard. The only cards not dedicated to the combos are the Avacyn's Pilgrims, for mana ramp, and the Palisade Giant s, to facilitate another combo of sorts.

The first combo is very simple, using a simple Midnight Guard enchanted with Presence of Gond. When the Guard taps to produce an Elf, its ability triggers and it untaps, ready to produce another Elf.

The second combo is much more involved. Again, you need a Midnight Guard, along with a Hornet Nest, a Setessan Tactics , and a way to make the Nest indestructible (i.e., Indestructibility, Ephemeral Shields , or Ajani's Presence). We make the Nest indestructible, then cast Setessan Tactics on the Guard. We then tap the Guard to have it fight the Nest, therefore producing 3 1/1 Hornet tokens with flying and deathtouch. Since the Nest is indestructible, it is not destroyed. The tokens entering the battlefield untap the Guard, allowing it to tap and fight the Nest again.

If the game goes on until we have six mana but we haven't found a Guard yet (some of the plentiful indestructibility-granting spells can be used to assist your blocking creatures), we can cast a Palisade Giant and enchant it with Indestructibility, thus rendering ourselves and all of our permanents immune to damage.

I have not playtested this deck extensively yet, so give me your feedback! Do you think this deck stands a chance? My playgroup tends to use relatively slow decks with very few counterspells or board sweepers.

Note that I did not find these Guard combos myself! Both combos came from articles on Magic's official websites. However, I came up with the idea to put them in one deck, and I thought of the Palisade combo (although I'm sure that one's already been done).

Thank you for looking at my deck, and for your feedback!
