Creature (4)

Instant (4)

Please note that this is a variant on Wedge's deck from TheManaSource.

Alright, so this deck is not that hard to pilot. Always, ALWAYS bounce the opponents lands back to their hand with the available spells. If you find yourself bouncing other things, you've already lost.

And remember, always prioritize the bounce spells first. The only time you should cast something else is if you can cast the bounce and it at the same time, if you have whiffed a draw, or if you are ready to combo off (Please refer to The Combo)

The Breakdown

Boomerang and Eye of Nowhere are your two most powerful bounce spells in the deck as they only cost 2.

You then have Consign to Dream , Resounding Wave , and Wipe Away . These are the cornerstones of the deck, they are all essentially the same spell at 3.

Surging AEther and Heidar, Rimewind Master are your top end. If Heidar sticks on the field, it's a garuntee bounce every turn and Surging has a 30% chance of totally wrecking your opponent. The Snow Covered Islands are required in the deck specifically for Heidar, nothing else.

Void Snare is used to get pesky threats off of the board and my favorite, a great counter to Chalice of the Void as if it is used on 2 and 3 the game is over.

Elixir of Immortality is a great way of keeping the game going if in a standstill.

Kami of the Crescent Moon is a great draw engine that benefits you and actually hurts your opponent as most of those cards they can't cast.

Now to the fun part.

The Combo

Alright, this is the only hard part of the deck and requires extensive explanation as it is a stack combo.

You have Drowned Secrets on the battlefield which can win games by itself. You then cast Release to the Wind targeting anything, that part isn't important. While Release is on the stack, you cast Naru Meha, Master Wizard , targeting the Release spell. This again triggers Drowned. When Naru enters the battlefield, you copy the Release spell, you let this resolve which exiles Naru, but because she is free and has Flash, immediately cast her again targeting Release to the Wind and repeat. This creates infinite Drowned Secrets triggers milling your opponent for two each time. Phew I made it through it. I hope you followed. For a video on how the combo works, watch BadBoyGaming's video on it on Youtube, it's great stuff.

This then leads to the Sideboard.

Sideboard

Sorcerous Spyglass let's you get rid of any threat needed.

Thaumatic Compass   lets you thin out your deck and lets you stop big threats from attacking.

Tempest Djinn and Dive Down are for an alternative win condition if your opponent techs against the combo during the second game.

Alright, that's it for the deck, I hope you enjoyed as I sure did have a blast building it. I would greatly appreciate Feedback and Upvotes. And that's it, see ya later.

4 Rounds Round 1 - Against Skred- 0-2, My deck was the worst possible matchup against Skred, they only need one land to play Round 2 - Something Rakdos- 2-0/Concede, my opponent conceded both games after turn 4 or so... Oops Round 3 - Eldrazi Tron- 2-1- First game was a non-game. I had to mulligan to 5 and henceforth lost. After sideboarding, the next two games were a breeze keeping my opponent on a single land for most of the next two games Round 4 - Mono White one drop Lifelink with Stoneforge. I have no clue what the name of the deck is. 0-2, Like the first game, I was just not teched to deal with the small creatures. The second game was close when I had two Djinns out, but he beat me in the end with the Stoneforge- Swords combo Overall I went 2-2, which is better than what most of my other decks do. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks
