You only need the neg ability for your traxos, make traxos a 13/1 and win the game

Also, Duress is better than Spell Pierce

Mrsmileyface23 Do you even play magic? First off if I Neg Tezz to Traxos High risk of removal or burn just snuffing him. Also where the hell am I getting 6 artifacts on the field to make him a 13/1. Your odds of that happening are slim to none.( and if you say well just use the etherium cells which would increase my turn count significantly you are really not paying attention as to what this deck is suppose to do.) So why even recommend something so foolish? The deck is meant to work way faster than that just naturally pummeling down oppponent in a way that isn't super easy for them to kill my big bodies. None of my big guys really fall to burn and need dedicated removal for the most part. This deck operates within a relatively tight consistency.

And as far as Duress being better than spell pierce that sounds like an opinion over a fact. Cause sorcery speed hand hate is sooo much better that early counter and instant speed? Stay off my page Mrsmileyface23

This looks decent in the meta. Do you have a problem with RDW? It looks like it mops this up with basic nut draws

Instead of trying to cast artifacts every turn, why not just make Traxos have Vigilance? Seems like it would be easier to fit in a Forebear's Blade. I'd keep the low drop artifacts in there for Traxos, but I'd also recomend Ornithopter as a 0 drop its pretty easy to cast and it can block flying. Plus its not a bad pull for Scrap Trawler and works well with the set up. Splashing white isn't a terrible idea either, though it may be harder to set up some of the deck, but you'd get things like Board the Weatherlight and Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage. The Mage would be real fun to use as you can flash in Ornithopter to block or untap Traxos for combat tricks. I see that you're worried about it being too slow and I understand that issue. Just some ideas. I've built a deck very similar to this and that bird is amazing.

Ceru99 if ya look through comment like all of that has already been tested. Doesn't yield super consistent results

Yeah it's pretty much the same definition. Be as it may I was looking further at the build you made. Have you played this in a real tournament scene?

Sweet strategy- I don't understand what you name with Metallic Mimic though, and also Supernatural Stamina seems like a strictly better Abnormal Endurance.

Squiggy686the2nd I just pulled Abnormal Endurance anyway was just testing the idea of the mechanic. Looking at a more expensive route at the moment with Karn, Scion of Urza and Tezzeret, Artifice Master. The Metallic Mimic Names Construct early game. Late game you could name Thopters to make those more productive. Most of the Creatures are Constructs. Also the tokens Karn produces are constructs or Thopters for Tezz. Sort of a Land and Air wide strike in the end if the initial smackdown doesn't get through with Traxos, Scourge of Kroog, Zahid, Djinn of the Lamp, or Demon of Catastrophes

While I know this is rotating out in October (and you've already picked out your M19 cards), I've found Hope of Ghirapur to be really, really useful against control matchups. Having it swing in and sac against U/B control and U/W control/second sun has won me a few games. Plus its so easy to get back with Scrap Trawler. I know you've already primed this for M19's release, but at least until then, what do you think about that as an include?

Solid option and played around with the idea myself for him over early sparring constructs. Its more about how you feel running it. For med would make it a side item but yes can fit a very solid role against control especially if hes out later and you time it with antiquities war to be a 5/5. Plus mid game play with sai gives u two flyers and one that sticks after u sac him

Have you considered Tezzeret, Master of Metal and C19 Tezzeret?

Skyler1776 Dont want 5 drops. But they were considered

Skyler1776 says... #18

Also, why no Artificer’s Assistant? With all your artifacts, it seems like a good 1 drop?

If you look at the revision list it was in there most of the idea of the deck but it's not quite good enough. Once rotation occurs he will be a star in artifact base control type decks. Plus he isnt an artifact and his ability is good but I'd only be running 2 so it would be when he happen to come up.

And possibly Panharmonicon and demon of dark schemes?

Also, I have 2 decks I’m trying to make, and would value your comments!

Neither of those make realistic competitive sense. I'll take a look.

BigSlap Because after being put together in paper and going 14-5 so far with the deck for FNM isn't consistent enough in the long run.....right.....only thing that isn't that great about it is that it's about to mostly rotate out. So why don't you be productive instead of talking shit. Also do you even play magic? talking about duplicates as if most decks aren't dupes of a controlled set.

Skyler1776 says... #25

Panharmonicon works with Metallic Mimic and Sai, master thopterist. Also, why Vicious Offering instead of Moment Of Craving?
