This is my first deck build. In this deck you're supposed to control your opponent by destroying every creature they try to play, as well as countering any spells they would like to play. In the mean time you're getting a lot of land and getting out big creatures like Grave Titan, AEtherling, and Mortivore. The kill spells on the sideboard are there in case you play a deck that wouldn't allow you to play one of your kill spells. For example if you're playing against an artifact deck you would swap Go for the Throat with either Doom Blade or Victim of Night. If you're playing against a very creature heavy deck and don't think your kill spells can keep up you can put a board wipe like Damnation or Life's Finale in your mainboard, as well as a possible Darkness.
