Saffi plays mainly as a value strategy where the commander helps to keep board presence while the deck sets up its largest creatures and finishers. Saffi's cost is immensely cheap so it's easy to play her from the command zone several times before any of the recursion engines come online.

Primeval Titan is allowed via Rule#0 in my group. I replace it with Qasali Pridemage otherwise (as my Torpor Orb protection). The rest of the sideboard is to potentially depower the deck for more casual play. These cards can replace the sacrifice engines to remove the infinite interactions.

- This one is a bit trickier. Use the infinite mill triggers on your own deck, Reveillark will return Saffi and Karmic Guide, Saffi will return Reveillark, and Karmic Guide is free to return any other creature. Use this to grab Sun Titan, Sun Titan grabs Earthcraft or Phyrexian Altar. Now you have infinite mana (by untapping lands with Earthcraft between Altar activations or just from Phyrexian Altar). You can continue the recursion using Eternal Witness to get Finale of Devastation. With infinite mana you can cast it with X = a bazillion. Craterhoof will give everything trample. This combo is effective if an opponent has mill protection like Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre or Gaea's Blessing. If you need to protect yourself from mill as well you can cast Green Sun's Zenith with X=0 to shuffle it back into your deck.

Depowered Sideboard Choices Show

The sideboard contains a replacement for Primeval Titan (Qasali Pridemage). It also adds costs to the sacrifice outlets, preventing them from being 3-card infinite combos (Earthcraft can refund mana but 4-card combos are ok, right?).
