Try and take advantage of powerful cards like Prognostic Sphinx . That thing blocks Stormbreath Dragon well before its activated. Speaking of the dragon, it's very powerful. Maximize your draw power, use the full playset of Divination . That land base needs a bump. Shivan Reef and Temple of Epiphany are saying hello. Early creatures to use are cards like Generator Servant to ramp up into larger threats. Get more protection, use a 4-2 split of Dissolve and Dissipate . Some boardwipe effect against aggressive decks such as Anger of the Gods are very powerful. Chasm Skulker is a decent card that gives a decent advantage. A 1-of Keranos, God of Storms can give you a good end finisher or some way to draw/deal damage in the late game.

If I may ask, is this deck really for Modern? My comment is mostly aimed for Standard, and I apologize if that's the case.

I have to agree. This looks more for Standard. Another card I can think to suggest is Sigiled Skink , or Omenspeaker . I have to also agree with Keranos, God of Storms as a finisher. The Temple of Epiphany and Shivan Reef are almost necessary in this deck to help support out draws, and for the scry triggers in the case of the Temple. Instead of the Lightning Strike s, I'd suggest Magma Jet . More scrying to help with your heavy hitter. Also, bump up the Aqueous Form to 4. I'd drop the Nivix Cyclops , Rage of Purphoros , and Pyroclasm (the only card keeping this from being Standard-legal).

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, i'll start working on fitting them in! The group i play with plays modern so that's what i put for suggestions, it's just the most helpful scry cards i've seen for this deck are in the Theros block.
