Instead of Molting Snakeskin , a bestow creature may be of more use, such as Everflame Eidolon or Mogis's Warhound . Then you have a body to fight with or a reasonably priced enchantment / heroic trigger.

If you need a deck for testing yours out, here ya go: Villainous Green my brew/idea going forward into the new standard. Just waiting on my cards to come in the mail. With testing in person, it has worked extremely well thus far.

are you running 21 mountains because of Stoke the Flames ? I used to play a mean mono red and it didnt have higher then 3 cmc and it ran 16. nice deck btw!

You can finish out your playsets of Dragon Mantle and Hammerhand by going down to 18 lands which is perfectly okay in a deck that curves out 2 as Stoke the Flames has convoke and won't be hard to cast.

16 lands is way too low unless you're running only one drops and 8-12 library manipulation spells (i'm looking at you, Delver of Secrets  ^Flip ). I'd only go as low as 18.
