Mathas! Mardu control with limited card advantage on a stick.

This is a very political list that uses heavy removal along with bounty counters to control a game with the "Carrot and Stick" Method of rewarding and punishing opponents. The goal is to prevent anyone from becoming too powerful in a multiplayer game while searching for the best opportunity to defeat each opponent, often by allowing other players to finish each other off.

Mana cost was also a big factor with this deck. Most of the deck is below 4 cmc or has some type of cost reduction built in. The idea is to have answers as early as possible, instant speed having an even higher preference. This list is trying as hard as a nonblue deck can to prevent opponents from ending the game prematurely.

One of these destruction enablers: Death Pits of Rath / Basilisk Collar combined with one of these creatures: Goblin Sharpshooter / Deathbringer Thoctar means instant board control.

Mathas, Fiend Seeker + Vorrac Battlehorns means unblockable commander damage.
