Purphoros is a house. The damage output from the guy is insane. Every token doubles in value when they turn into a mini little Flametongue Kavu. The reach is never missed from an aggro deck, and it has the power to simply burn out the opponent if they try to take it long game. The deck can empty it's hand fairly quickly, and needs a draw engine. Pain Seer is a thought, but a tad too inconsistant. He is just shut down by Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix. The Bloodsoaked Champion + Grim Harsupex is a nice little draw outlet, albeit slow. But the cards are solid on their own as well. The deck seems okay, but it really looks like it will struggle vs. a turn 2 Courser. Some options are Ride Down, Stoke the Flames, or to just go around it, but I would like to hear other thoughts as well. The singleton Deflecting Palm is a personal preferance. The card is very swingy, as it can win the game for you out of nowhere, but can also sit dead in your hand all game. I think the deck has a lot of room for improvement, but I'm excited to see where it goes. Feel free to leave your 2 cents.
