A very hard deck to draft, you want specifically 7-9 creatures which usually gain tempo or can win the game on their own. The rest of your deck should be disruption to push through one of your creatures to win the game with it and cantrips/card draw to find more disruption, lands or another creature. (Tempo decks need a lot of pieces in specific proportion.)

To draft this deck, you must realize that first picks don't matter nearly as much as they normally would. That is ok because a lot of cards for this deck (especially the black 2-power 1-drops) are not that useful for other decks and tend to go very late. Sometimes you see a bomb like Geist of Saint Traft or Jace, the Mind Sculptor which is a good first pick but often you will just end up picking a land or something like Force Spike first. Cards like ponder, brainstorm, and preordain should be picked very highly, as you need a lot of pieces to make the deck work and you don't want your spells to cost a lot of mana. Lands are also picked more highly than usual because you play 3 colors most of the time and often need many double-color spells and 1-drops of various colors. The rest of your deck should be cheap spells that disrupt your opponent and help you get your creatures through for 20 damage. Counters like mana leak, force spike, and remand are good, as well as removal and any land destruction you can find. Bounce spells, tap spells, and card draw are decent as well.
