Because Snapcaster plus Traverse is silly. But I know what you're thinking - "3 Bauble? Only 3 Traverse? What kind of garbage is this?"

The consistent kind, that's what. The previous version of the deck was all-in on getting Traverse online, with an extra copy each of Traverse, Bauble, and Inquisition in place of Serum Visions. And the deck was great, half the time. The other half, it did pretty much nothing. Let me tell you, it feels bad for a deck of this power level to get repeatedly steam rolled by tier 10 decks doing janky badness.

But now, with the little adjustment to get Serum Visions into the deck while easing off the Traverse plan, I get to have a reasonably consistent, powerful midrange deck that actually plays Magic, with the nasty Traverse package doing work in the late game (and sometimes earlier).

So far, my favorite late game Traverse trick is to search for Snapcaster Mage, then cast the Snapcaster and flash back Traverse to grab and play Death's Shadow. Two creatures from one card feels good in a topdeck war.
