Gutterbones
is for quick on the ground aggro. Gutterbones is great for coming back after death, although I have concerns with
Cry of the Carnarium
and
Lava Coil
.
Midnight Reaper
and
Ruin Raider
are there for the card draw. Although I am framing this deck as aggro, I feel that there are times where you cannot just nip of the last bit of life. These cards are here to provide fuel and keep the death march.
Spawn of Mayhem
is a quick card that really fits the aggro mood of the deck. Life loss per turn and a huge flyer with trample.
Wanted Scoundrels
is a card that I have toyed around with and I gotta say that it works for the damage that it provides. One thing that I would recommend is playing other cards first to bait out removal if there are other 2-drop options. It works great against blue and white decks.
-
Dread Shade
is a great way to get around the burn decks because you can pump him for survival. He also survives
Cry of the Carnarium
. Swing and pump accordingly.

In the side board, there is your traditional black
Duress
and
Drill Bit
to take out pesky cards that hold up the game.
Knight of Malice
is the sub card for
Wanted Scoundrels
if their removal game is benefiting more (which happens less than you think).
Walk the Plank
is more black removal if there are too many Legendary Cards.
Plague Mare
is for the combat tricks and fighting out the weenie decks
Overall, my concerns are with field wipes, but I feel that this deck can get around them. Big issues come from exile, but again I think the card draw will power through it. This deck does not do well with artifact or enchantment removal either. There may be a need for more cards that bring back creatures as well.
Let me know what you think! Specific and detailed feedback would be appreciated.
