This was going to be a $100 budget stompy deck , but somehow it turned into a try-hard multi-thousand dollar deck. It's super fun to pilot, one of my favorite decks by far. People ask why not run the egg chick , but I'm a sucker when it comes to o.g. lore...well, "o.g." as in when the lore was good, and the Alara block was one of the best when it comes to lore and Mayael is rich with backstory! Plus, her foil card is NICE! This deck has seen so many revisions, the latest of which has been to add a few dorks and rocks to get that Mayael activation ASAP and start profiting early! I threw in an Inferno of the Star Mounts to see how I like him, but haven't seen him yet and I've gotta run through so many hoops to get him to 20 power so might just be on the chopping block once a nicer red stompy creature comes into our lives. OHHH, Serra's Emissary is a fucking M.V.P.!!! 100% run her in your angel deck, creature cheat deck, mono white deck, WHATEVER deck she is so NICE!
