This is not meant to be seriously budget. This is the exact opposite. Everyone knows you must pay to win!
I originally set out to make the most expensive MTG deck possible. Instead, I wound up making this turbo draw/affinity beat down deck. Nearly every single card here is overpriced, and not legal. But it's okay. The goal of the deck is to draw thru the entire deck with cheap draw power, free mana, and free creatures. The free creatures than get sacrificed to your ]]Arcbound Ravager]], who when dies gives them to your Ornithopter. If that game plan doesn't work, pull out a Steel Overseer or two to help pump your army. If you can't get a nice draw-line coming, hope you have double Etherium Sculptor to make your artifacts free. If you don't keep cycling your deck, you lose. If you get to the end of the deck by turns 3 or 4, which is possible, than you win.
Expensive Cards
Mox Sapphire - This card gives me an extra blue mana, and affinity for artifacts for free.
Ancestral Recall - Card advantage for just a blue? Sure!
Black Lotus - 3 mana for free, plus temporary affinity? Sounds worth at least 10 grand for a play set.
The Dual Lands - Yes, the only necessary lands are U/B. But you know what they say... those who spend more money always win. Also, I will keep them in just in case I wanted to expand colors.
The Combo Piece
Contract from Below is a banned card. If you want to be the best, you got to play the banned cards and break the rules. Once you are done drawing cards and playing your hard, draw eight! If you want to play with an ante, throw a penny in the middle.
The Draw Power
Brainstorm - This can help us save cards from Contract from Below if we want a new hand early. It also can net us good T1 starts.
Demonic Tutor - A tutor for the ages (and the bank!). Lots of good combos possible, but the one true love is bringing out that Contract from Below
Thoughtcast - Draw two cards for one mana. Yes, I know that's what it says, but that's effectively what it does for you. Yes please.
