Most likely Zeus, Heliod, God of the Sun had a half-god son: Kytheon, Hero of Akros   . Famous for his strength and for his numerous far-ranging adventures, Kytheon survived all battles he faced. Many said he was indestructible.

Protector of Akros, Khytheon was a great soldier. His father, always looking after him, knew that, one day, he would become a legend: Gideon, Battle-Forged  .

I've always been a fan of White, mainly because of Craig Wescoe builds. This time, I read a Cassidy Silver article that inspired me in this deck. In his EDH deck with Kytheon, Hero of Akros   , he took a more control-centered route, that would function in larger multi-player games. I followed the same idea, but changed a few points that make the deck a little more equipment powerfull/less harmful for it.

With my build, we can exert a ton of pressure early game with Kytheon, Hero of Akros   , especially against slower decks. Against faster decks, we are packing a ton of removal, more than enough to stop aggression, but also securing our guys with indestructible abilities. So, lets start:

Deathless Angel , Frontline Medic, Heliod, God of the Sun, Soul of New Phyrexia, Darksteel Plate, Bastion Protector: All support I can get to make my creatures indestructible. Frontline Medic is also great to transform Kytheon, Hero of Akros   .

Austere Command, Day of Judgment, Martial Coup, Rout and Wrath of God: lets blow the hole world... but our guys. These are mass removal tools that our creatures will dodge with indestructible abilities. Martial Coup is a great way to get some field advantage.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Sublime Archangel, Archangel of Thune, Baneslayer Angel: Since we are also a midrange deck, we can upgrade our card quality with these awesome creatures.

Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Light and Shadow and Sword of War and Peace: we have to win somehow, right? And swords are always great.

Other cards: all the other cards help supporting our strategies or protecting our guys.
