Simply put, this is as close as we can get to birthing pod in standard.

Using the power of Prophet of Kruphix, it allows us to use (and have the mana for) instant speed solutions in the form of creatures / permanents (where applicable). We do this through Chord of Calling and Genesis Hydra.

Key cards simic provides are obviously the fantastic Prophet of Kruphix, Prime Speaker Zegana which allows for a big beater and a way to refill the hand, and Progenitor Mimic, for an instant speed (with Prophet) cloning of a creature for solution, and win-con.

The deck includes several one ofs, as these are something we want to tutor for, rather than draw into. Several things likely need to be swapped around, including potentially Arbor Colossus mainbord, as well as Reclamation Sage.

Most games if you can tutor out Soul of New Pyrexia and have a prophet, it's usually a win from there.

Notable Exlucsions:

Nissa, Worldwaker - has not been included as she doesn't actually do much for this deck. Yes, her final ability is cool, as is her ability to turn forests into creatures, but usually the untapping of forests is highly irrelevant, as Prophet is untapping all lands on the other players' turns.
