This is why we can't have nice things. Because someone (me!!!) is going to bring Clock of Omens shenanigans to tap them all down. For a long time. This deck abuses the old artifacts like Winter Orb that only work when untapped and tap them advantageously. To play this deck you need to know when to tap cards. You tap cards like Winter Orb on your last opponent in the turn cycle's end step, and you tap cards like Blinkmoth Urn on your end step. You do at by tapping the artifact you want tapped and Clock of Omens and then untaping Clock of Omens. This does work because Clock of Omens doesn't have to untap a tapped artifact, so it can target itself before it is tapped. Other cool combos with Clock of Omens are, inspired creatures+Mycosynth Lattice which lets me trigger a million inspire effects, Key to the City which lets me pay two mana to draw a card X times, where X equals the total number of artifacts I control -1, Lux Cannon which lets me put more charge counters than normal on per turn cycle by tapping two other artifacts to untap Lux Cannon. I can also use Clock of Omens and the "of Empires" cards to get multiple pings, tokens, or taps/gain controls. Clock of Omens can also be used with artifacts that ramp to really ramp. A really cute combo with Clock of Omens is I can tap equipped equipment to untap things. The second to last combo is, Clock of Omens+Nevinyrral's Disk. This combo allows you to boardwipe one turn early. One final combo with Clock of Omens is Candles of Leng which lets you draw cards!! The rest of the cards in the deck either make our deathtouching commander able to ping things, or help with the sacrifices we must make to tutor for cards, or ramp, or kill more stuff, or are swamps. Small note: there is one 6 card infinite combo in this deck. You need all the "of Empires" cards+Ashnod's Altar+Clock of Omens+Mycosynth Lattice. This works by tapping the throne for five artifact tokens that I can tap instantly, then I tap two to untap the throne and two to untap the scepter after tapping it, then I sacrifice one token to tap the throne again. Rinse and Repeat. There is also a hard-lock in this deck of Mirage Mirror+card:Klowledge Pool. As long as I can activate the mirror, I can make it so no one except for me can cast spells. This works because I can stack the triggers so that the card:Mirage Mirroe that is a copy of card:Knoledge Pool activate first, which steals the spell out of the air, and then leaves it there where it is lost at the end of turn when the mirror reverts back to normal.
