Ok heres my brief write up:
R1: 2-1 vrs GB Yawg. Super close match. Even tho i mulled in every game. Won with kaldra game 1. Got Yawged game 2. Won in game 3 narrowly when i stomped his scurry oak to stop his combo
R2: 0-2 vrs Affinity: Got pretty stomped, With Saga, affinity just outgrows anything I can make, post board I got rekt by etched champion
R3: 2-1 vrs Temur Rhinos: lost game 1 to 6 rhinos beating me up. I squeaked by in the post board games mostly due to the help of kaldra and blood moon, I def should have lost but my op made a lot of mistakes that allowed me to barely win.
R4: 0-2 vrs Jeskai Stoneblade: These games were not close at all, I mulled a lot and could not answer my ops Kaldras while they could answer mine
R5: 2-0 vrs Mardu Stoneblade: Also not close games, but in my favor. Just went super wide and beat face. There was even 1 game were i got to cast SFM and Kaldra in the same turn Glorybanger won me both games
R6: 2-1 vrs Affinity: supppper close games here. I actually managed to win game 1 in a crazy fashion, our boardstates got clogged up and we were both sitting with no fliers and no attacks, I was eventually able to get the win with a Kloyths equipped with batterskull and kaldra (NUT). Game 2 i lost to an etched champion with cranial plating, not much I could do there. In game 3 we both had very moppy starts and didnt do much. I sorta locked him out with moon but didnt have a real clock. I was eventually able to win with mediocre beats and a shit ton of removal, a top-decked Fracturing Gust sealed the deal on a game that was in my favor.
Finished 10th Place. Overall I'm pretty happy with the day, especially since I was playing an off-meta deck and had an above 50% mull rate (in the first 5 rounds I only kept 3 7s :(
