This deck tries to pack as much tutoring, mana ramping and disruption into as tight a space as possible, with as many redundant infinite combos in there so that any one piece can infinite combo with any one or two other pieces.

Mikaeus enables nearly every combo in the deck so allowing us to play him at any time either from command zone, graveyard, or anywhere with command beacon is incredibly powerful. He also provides ab alternate win condition of grinding out your opponents, as even without an infinite combo, nims to recurse everything or a sac outlet to provide an instant speed blink for exile and bounce and steal effects is still a tough board to beat in combat with mikaeus out.

Sidsi as the commander would make the decks infinite combo plan more consistant but become more vulnerable to disruption due to having only one real game plan. Semi-weak to graveyard hate as some combos rely on it.

Dont play Leyline of the void unless you expect to get Helm of Obedience or need it badly.
