Big trees.

There are a couple ways to go from here. Sticking with mono-g allows for easier ramping and synergy with cards that provide bonuses based on the number of forests. Can also splash black for some golgari cards, such as kin tree invocation, tree of perdition, etc. Assault Formation is good for a defender-based deck, and going full Azban colors (G/W/B) gives access to Doran, Siege Tower and Murmuring Bosk (which is also usable and cheap to splash either B or W, and it counts as a forest).
