The idea is simple: Ramp your way up into a sizeable army of elves, then play Craterhoof Behemoth, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Thunderfoot Baloth, Eldrazi Monument, Coat of Arms, Akroma's Memorial, or any combination of these cards to go for the kill. There are a few silly combos here, revolving around Umbral Mantle. There are lots of tutors, filters, and massive card-draw cards here to find you more elves and your win-cards. Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury is a great commander choice because she pumps out mana-dorks (which become huge later with Craterhoof Behemoth and the like), takes care of annoying problems such as Call to the Grave, draws you massive amounts of cards, and helps you re-mobilize quickly after a board-wipe. Liquimetal Coating turns her -2 ability into a Vindicate.
