This is my RDW deck. It is my first deck for competition. I've been playing kitchen table magic forever, over 15 years, but I have never done anything competitive or standard until now. I've done research over the years but never put my feet in the water.

I'm an aggressive player and I felt rdw was a cheap and easy option to play. I generally play red, white, or black weenies, and generally mono color decks. RDW is not a hard deck to play or win with, but its not so easy as to master or top with.

I went to a 162 person FNM with it, and then I hit up a 1k Prelim SCG the Sunday following. At FNM I went 3-1, beating against mill, mardu control, and jeskai tempo. I lost to Azorious heroic. At the 1k I went 1-2 Drop, beating a jeskai control, and losing to jeskai tempo and temur aggro. We had inclement weather or I would have stayed the other 4 rounds.

When I win, it seems to be in dominating fashion, winning by turn 6/7 with 20 life still or very close. When I lose, it is usually for one of two reasons(inb4cuzibad), either I get mana screwed at 2 or 3, never going up, like 11 turns in, or I can't get past a blocker. I'm talking the 4 toughness guys. These guys are out of reach of my burns except for stoke and none of my guys can get by them without Outburst on a foundry or a buffed up swiftspear which they probably didn't block anyways, or a buffed up rabble, in which hes going to die anyways.

To remedy this, I'm going to try 22 lands, and 4 frenzied. Drop a few cards in the maindeck, like searing, sarkahn, and heelcutter, and add in another chandra, and some hammerhands. What do you guys think?
