I went 3-0-1. We had about 20 people tonight.
Round 1: vs Death and Taxes
It was a little weird seeing Thraben Inspector and Smuggler's Copter on my opponent's side of the table. In game 1, a Serra Ascendant puts the game away with little trouble after my opponent used path on a copter. Game 2 gets a little dicey, with my opponent having a couple of Restoration Angels, as well as Mindcensor and Arbiter to turn off my Rangers of Eos and an Eldrazi Displacer to keep me from blocking profitably. I have tons of life from 3 Martyrs though, and end up drawing Hallowed Burial to wipe everything away and take over from there. 2-0
Round 2: vs Jund
In game one, we end up in a stalemate where he has an enormous scavenging ooze, while I have Gideon making some tokens, as well as a couple of rangers. I lose a couple of creatures in combat in order to kill back to back Lilianas. Eventually I draw path for the ooze and kill my opponent in short order. In game 2, I take out a goyf and a scooze with hallowed burial and put away the game with gideon and avacyn. 2-0
Round 3: vs Jund
I keep a hand with copter, 2 rangers, a wrath, and lands. My opponent uses inquisition and 2 thoughtseize to rid me of the copter and rangers, while I draw settle the wreckage and more lands. I draw the third ranger right on time though, and grab a pair of thraben inspectors. My opponent never really finds a threat and I kill him with ground creatures. In game 2, we trade off a bunch of resources, but my opponent had bob in play and I drew a bunch of lands. I end up getting beaten down by a couple of bloodbraid elves and die the turn before I get emeria active. In game three, I play a curve of inspector > hawk > copter > gideon. My opponent answers gideon and the copter with assassin's trophy and kolaghan's command, but I still have hawks, another copter, and avacyn in hand, and my opponent scoops. 2-1
Round 4: I split with my opponent and go home early.
