I've been working on an Ally-deck for quite some time, not really knowing which way to go. The Ally-tribe have several interesting mechanics - I have a fondness for creatures that keep growing after you've played them.

This deck came together when I discovered Hardened Scales That cheap enchantment will have a drastic effect on your Ally-creatues.

Hada Freeblade, Kazandu Blademaster, Oran-Rief Survivalist and Umara Raptor are the soldiers of the army. They have strong synergy on their own, but best with Hardened Scales in play.

Ondu Cleric is added for life gain.

Join the Ranks is there for combat tricks, and was chosen over Allied Reinforcements for it's instant-speed. Collected Company would probably be better, but it's too expensive for version 1 of this deck.

Harabaz Druid fixes mana and provides ramp.

For late game strategy Sea Gate Loremaster let's you draw loads of cards, and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar will generate an Ally token each turn.

I fear that getting blue mana, could be an issue - but I'll have to do more testing - I could add Beastcaller Savant I'm not sure about Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, but he is in for now. Maybe Ozolith, the Shattered Spire would be a more powerful card.
