I am trying to get back into standard, and this is what I came up with. Most of the damage will be done in the mid-late game with my mid-range creatures (Thunderbreak Regent, Surrak, the Hunt Caller, and Thought-Knot Seer) but there's still moderate burn (Fiery Impulse, Draconic Roar) if needed, with Dragonlord Atarka to bring up the rear. Everthing else is devoted to ramp and kill spells so that I can last long enough to get my bigger guys on the field.

For the sideboard, I am using a fairly safe group of cards that will help me in most situations; Naturalize for those pesky white enchantments or artifacts, Gaea's Revenge for counter-based control matchups, World Breaker for some extra beef and removal to boot, Transgress the Mind for when kill spells don't quite do the trick, and Jaddi Offshoot for aggro matchups where you need some extra life-gain and some more early blockers.
