This is an EDH completely designed around King Macar and how his ability triggers off of being tapped/untapped.

Artifacts were the natural counterpart to king macar as they are generally more versatile for EDH than strictly black can be and is the main means for the tapping functions of the commander.

You may notice this deck is EXTREMELY budget. I am only using the cards that I have so though feedback is cool the deck wont change from putting in cards that are above 5 to 10 dollars. Let me know what those cards are though I am not so familiar with the modern/legacy sets to even know what the overpowered black cards are in EDH/ magic in general.

The deck is pretty simple set up king macar as early as possible and give him one of the many engines in the deck to continue tapping him which will give you extreme value not only removing your opponents creatures but also giving you and artifact which also can be sacrificed for a land.

There is also quite a bit of ramp involved from cards like crypt ghast, caged sun, sol ring etc. which late game you'll always be able to throw downa huge beater like any of the colossus's and swing for game with them which is always satisfying.

Known weaknesses: It doesn't absolutely NEED king macar but he's the main juice of the deck and is sooooo powerful when combined with this deck whats extremely good is most enchantments do not effect him as much as other commanders I usually struggle when someone puts arrest on my commander but king macar doesn't care at all.

Also the only way to remove those pesky artifacts/enchantments is with Rachet Bomb or Descent into madness in other words if one of these two types are out that prove too much for the deck it will take a LONG time to get rid of it as each isn't very fast.
