PRIMER

A new take on one of my very first commander Doran, the Siege Tower. The previous version was built around 2013 when the commander format wasn't as developped as today and when LOTR expansions came out with a few more treefolk it reinvigorated my interest in rebuilding a Treefolk Tribal Deck. Enjoy !

DECK OBJECTIVES

1- Slowly cast Large blockers without becoming the primary target at the table

2- Instate good beatdown support with tribal centric cards

3- Have decent amount of interaction with opponents wether offensively or defensively

PILOTING THE DECK

- Always try to cast Doran, the Siege Tower on turn 3
- Always prioritize playing ramp in the first 6-7 turns to allow for curve of the deck
- Around turn 7-8, consistantly leave mana open for interactions (protection, removal, etc.)

N.B.: This is a slow deck. As such, you shouldn't expect to swing early with your creatures for the win. It seems better to last until its a 1vs1 situation and finish it off.
