I started playing Legacy with Shardless BUG, however I have fallen in love with the faster variants. I am going to be doing a bunch of legacy playtesting leading up to GP Seattle in November, so I will be making somewhat of a primer on here with all of my experiences!

Lets Start with the Mainboard flexslots:

Creatures:

• Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  : this guys is excellent in this build. He fuels my Dig Through Time and then lets me have less mana intensive Snapcaster Mage's. For a control deck that only runs 20 lands, mostly 2 drops, powerful sorceries, and relies on Dig Through Time this guys is pretty bonkers. I think he will become standard in this build. Credit to BillyNOOOO for convincing me to pick a couple up.

Spells:

• this deck has a super simple counter/discard package right now. Hymn to Tourach is in over Thoughtseize because it is still a good discard spell while also generating card advantage, which decks like this live off of.

• while this is a control deck, Daze is here to help with the combo matchup. Since this deck runs like all 2 drops, i can afford to run Daze.

• Toxic Deluge: great against some tough matchups (D&T, Elves) so its a great 1 of in the build.
