Welcome! This is my Animar EDH. Originally it had more of a, "I'm going to use creatures to kill you" sort of theme to it. Over the last few years of playing I've steadily improved the list and it now focuses more on winning via combo aspects.

Typically either Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Splinter Twin with one of: Bounding Krasis, Deceiver Exarch, Pestermite, or Zealous Conscripts.

Examples of additional combos that win with Purphoros, God of the Forge, Altar of the Brood, or Bontu's Monument:

Ancestral Statue + Animar, Soul of Elements

Cloudstone Curio + Animar, Soul of Elements + Cloud of Faeries + A colorless creature or morph

Cloudstone Curio + Animar, Soul of Elements + Peregrine Drake + A creature

Cloudstone Curio + Animar, Soul of Elements + Stratus Dancer(morph) + Willbender(morph)

Added a new combo in terms of Imperial Recruiter and Phyrexian Metamorph which works with Shrieking Drake.

I'm happy to take any and all suggestions. By no means is my Animar deck as good as it could be. This deck can be tons of fun in Multiplayer.

I spared expense in fetch lands (Misty Rainforest, Scalding Tarn, and other off-color fetches) mainly due to cost. Those will eventually go in the deck.
