This deck aims to have as much synergy as possible to squeeze value out of every creature played. It only uses cards that won't rotate. Additions expected with BFZ:Catacomb sifterRuinous Path
Beaters:
Rakshasa Gravecaller
:Makes all the tokens. Combine it with sultai emissary, flamerush rider, flameshadow conjuring etc.
Brutal Hordechief:Synergy with Flameshadow Conjuring to get two times the attack triggers. It can also force them to block copies of creatures from the
Flamerush Rider
and Flameshadow Conjuring. The life gain is very important for coming back against burn, aggro, etc
Whisperwood ElementalWe have lots of creatures in the deck that can manifest in response to a flameshadow conjuring trigger. It protects us from a board wipe. It's just good.
Flamerush Rider
:Synergy with Flameshadow Conjuring for double the copies. Copies things like Fleshbag Marauder and
Merciless Executioner
to eliminate their board every turn. Creates unexpected bursts of damage with dash.
Graveblade MarauderWith all the creatures in the deck constantly dying, this becomes a gnarly beater in the late game. In the early game its an awesome blocker.
Support creatures:
Ruthless Ripper
:Can be a great surprise off a manifest trigger. Stalls the ground so we can start up our combos. Also deals some damage and can be aggressive.
Fleshbag Marauder /
Merciless Executioner
: Key piece of the deck. Synergizes with almost everything. Copy it and clear their board. Sacrifice it with Evolutionary Leap when you have no other creatures. Bring it back with Liliana.
Liliana, Heretical Healer
:A 1 of for the cool combos and recursion. Plus a little life gain for aggro and burn.
Non-creatures:
Elemental Bond
:14 cards in the deck trigger this, plus the copies of them. This and Evolutionary Leap keep the threats coming.
Evolutionary Leap:Sac sultai emissary, or tokens made by
Flamerush Rider
or Flameshadow Conjuring for almost free card advantage. Sac a Fleshbag Marauder or
Merciless Executioner
before it's trigger resolves (with no other creatures on the board). Great for making sure you keep dropping threats.
Flameshadow Conjuring:Another key piece of the deck. If you have read the other stuff, you know why this is insane.
Outpost SiegeCool synergy with all the stuff that dies in this deck or tokens that are exiled. Gets rid of the little creatures you don't want to hit with executioners. Plus the card advantage side is also awesome.
Ultimate Price
Gonna get replaced with the new "hero's downfall" type card. For now it is pretty good anyways. I needed a few removal spells besides the executioners so I could rid of their threats when they have other creatures out.
