I loved the art of the Hellkite Igniter so much that I made a deck for it.I had to try and find a way to make artifact ramp in modern, and the solution i came up with was kinda silly.

Turn One:land, Astral Cornucopia + Surge Node or Everflowing Chalice + Surge Node

Turn Two:land, use Surge Node to charge Everflowing Chalice or Astral Cornucopia, Coretapper

Turn Three:land, tap and sacrifice Coretapper to add 3 charges to Everflowing Chalice or Astral Cornucopia, use surge node to add 1 charge to Everflowing Chalice or Astral Cornucopia, tap Astral Cornucopia for 5 red or tap Everflowing Chalice for 5 colorless and tap both lands for Hellkite Igniter .attack

Turn four:play any artifacts you have and spam Hellkite Igniter s ability, swing for hopeful win

Other things are added in the deck to help get the charges rolling. Voltaic Key and Throne of Geth help to add counters. in order to do some defense, Volt Charge and Contagion Clasp help to remove early things as well as proliferate a bit.

I'm trying not to add things like Mox Opal because i don't want to spend that much when making this.
