Maybeboard

Working on tuning Saskia to be a solid, resilient beater deck that hates everything blue stands for. Cards in the deck revolve around a few keywords to push through damage:

Indestructible- creature decks in EDH get blown out by sweepers. It hurts so bad to spend 7 turns building your board to have a 4 mana sweeper wipe it all away. Selfless Spirit Dauntless Escort Stonehoof Chieftain Boros Charm Heroic Intervention Ready / Willing and Odric, Lunarch Marshall combined with Xenagos, God of Revels or Iroas, God of Victory keep us on the board.

Double strike and multiple combat steps- Creatures swing twice, twice, and twice again. There are multiple ways to deal double damage that stack on top of each other like doublestrike, saskia's ability, extra combat phases, and damage doubling. Saskia the Unyielding Aurelia, the Warleader Gisela, Blade of Goldnight Savageborn Hydra Dictate of the Twin Gods Gratuitous Violence Berserkers' Onslaught Combat Celebrant Solemn Recruit Hydra Omnivore True Conviction.

Advantageous blocking schemes- opponent can't block or get punished for blocking the exponential damage coming at them. Deathtouch, menace, first strike, double strike, and block manipulation all play into this: Ankle Shanker Brutal Hordechief Iroas, God of Victory Odric, Lunarch Marshall , all the damage doublers mentioned above, Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist Bow of Nylea Ready / Willing Order / Chaos Naya Charm Vault of the Archangel to some extent, Thalia, Heretic Cathar and with Lavalanche being the most fun.

Trample and pumping- classic gruul tactic of making big things bigger stacks well with damage doublers and extra combat steps- Gahiji, Honored One Mirror Entity Odric, Lunarch Marshall Stonehoof Chieftan Thunderfoot Baloth Wilderness Elemental Overwhelming Stampede Triumph of the Hordes Beastmaster Ascension Xenagos, God of Revels Kessig Wolf Run

Ramp, tutor, recursion, spot removal, and card advantage- needed in any EDH deck: Birds of Paradise Ravos, Soultender Ulvenwald Hydra Farseek Rampant Growth Rishkar's Expertise Lifecrafter's Bestiary Shamanic Revelation Ajani Unyielding Vizier of the Menagerie Utter End Path to Exile and bit of extra enchantment hate plus all the mana rocks.

Mana base- still a shell of the precon. Upgrade route will likely stay budget but go more towards a plan focusing on fetching for deck thinning. Ideally searching for 2 basics then BFZ battle lands for color fixing along with 5 color lands. I love the hideaway lands too!
