through something like Elixir of Immortality or even Emrakul, the Aeons Torn would be useful against mill and worth considering for a sideboard. Cards such as though would help againt the obvious threat of Enchantment removal, too.

most mill decks don't mill off an infinite combo in modern.

1 Traumatize and you're library is under 200. But Emrakul would keep that from happening, I think in a stupidly useful way.

Traumatize is the best card in the game.

Needs more Shadowborn Apostle s and fewer basic Island s. Include some Black/Blue dual lands of some sort if you're worried about not having double blue by turn 5.

Hilarious concept, and I've never seen it done more simply.

Surgical Extraction or Extirpate would be a big problem if they killed one of your Shadowborn Apostles. Also, since you must wait until your next upkeep before Battle of Wits triggers, it could easily be taken out by an Oblivion Ring or Erase.

Though the odds of you drawing it are statistically insignificant, you'd probably want a Pact of Negation in your hand to either counter something that would counter Battle of Wits or something that would exile or destroy it. You may even want to tutor for Pact of Negation before you tutor for Battle of Wits, though that is going to slow your game way, way, down, and this deck is already slow as hell by modern standards (earliest possible win con, from what I can see, is turn 7, and most modern games are over by then.) I don't think this will ever beat a serious modern deck, but it is a fun idea nonetheless.
