I was Pondering something for a while: Mardu Warrior Aggro. After giving it a lot of thought, I concluded that breaking it down to just White/Black made it faster and more reliable.

The Pros of Keeping This Deck W/B:

• I need to play only one scry-temple for this deck's land base, thus decreasing the number of tapped lands I play and speeding up the overall tempo.

• If I go Mardu, I will play way too many three converted mana cost spells, and won't have too many one or two drops. It also allows me to play Sign in Blood , which would be too color intensive for the Mardu deck.

• Aggro decks in the metagame nowadays tend to prey upon decks that play tapped lands.

The Khans of Keeping This Deck W/B:

• I don't get to use such powerhouses as Goblin Rabblemaster and War-Name Aspirant .

• Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker can't be an option.

• I don't have as many ways to deal with Stormbreath Dragon . If I do play Mardu, I have access to Crackling Doom and Stoke the Flames .

Now that I have gone over the reasons to play this deck, I will elaborate on the purposes of each of the cards:

• Bloodsoaked Champion:This guy never dies. He is an comparable to Gravecrawler, and most think he is better because he has an easier prerequisite.

• Chief of the Edge and Chief of the Scale :These two cards are the centerpieces of the deck. They are both above the curve and I see no reason to play less than four of each of them.

• Herald of Anafenza:May not be a Warrior himself, but can make Warriors all the while getting stronger. If I need a late-game creature, he's my go-to guy.

• Hero's Downfall:I cannot beat Stormbrath Dragon unless this shows up. Hero's Downfall is the most relevant removal spell in Standard.

• Mardu Hordechief :Think of him this way: If I have a Chief of the Edge out or have a Raiders' Spoils ready to be cast the next turn, he can put 5 damage on the board alone.

• Raiders' Spoils:I compare this card to Sorin, Solemn Visitor. It's a Spear of Thassa. :D

• Sightless Brawler :Just another above-the-curve creature.

• Sign in Blood :If I want to draw cards, I just cast this. Aggro decks usually have a problem with keeping cards in their hand while also not playing blue or paying 3 mana.

• Sorin, Solemn Visitor:I cast this guy against Aggro and laugh. I can turn my small horde of little Warriors into crazy powerful, lifelinking monsters!

• Tormented Hero :Obviously not as good as Bloodsoaked Champion, but he is a savannah lion and a Warrior.

So, knowing the cards in the mainboard is half of the strategy. The other half is knowing how to sideboard:
