I have 3 in the sideboard, haha. Thanks, though! You might not have seen them because I have the Return to Ravnica versions.

I'm am curious to know how this deck is doing. Are you winning, what cards are the real all stars?

As far as winning in my group, people can't get around it. So far.
Myth Realized is pretty good here, can get really big really fast and gets around sorcery speed creature removal.
If Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper sits on the field too long he can make things get out of control pretty quick.
Halimar Tidecaller is a 2 for 1, almost guaranteed getting back you a card and making your land creatures flying is pretty significant.
Narset Transcendent is pretty great here, almost always gaining you a card with her +1 and her -2 is almost always relevant.
Other than those 4 cards, besides lands, you can sum up the rest of the cards in this deck as "You can't play stuff."

Wondering how good this deck would be vs Atarka? Seeing that most of your big weapons are such mana intensive.

You, my friend, need more lands. You also need to edit your mana base. It doesn't support blue well enough. Other than that, a great deck.

I have a similar build and I see you have it in the sideboard but roilspout is really good in this. Having awaken it can give you a late game swing in advantage plus it stalls fantastically with that jeskai charm action. Also the land that keeps one creature tapped down is helpful at stall.Skyline Cascade

Rothus: If you sideboard in Dispels for the Become Immense/Atarka's Command and Displacement Waves for the goblin tokens. Swap out some of the higher costed spells and/or Clutch of Currents it will give you a chance, but I still get crushed a majority of the time.

This deck is great, Myth Realized has great synergy here, I'm going to have to throw one together for my next FNM!

I love Myth Realized, too bad it does not have any form of evadsion. I think Treasure Cruise or Dig Through Time can also make a cut given there are so many spells to delve, instead of Part the Waterveil

Lapahn: The only reason that this deck is over $500 is because a lot of these cards are foil, which can increase the price of cards. The only really expensive cards in this deck are Flooded Strand, Narset Transcendent, & Polluted Delta (Both expedition and non-expedition). These cards can be swapped out easily if need be, also.

This is just the specific decklist that I currently have. The concept of this deck does not require expensive cards and can always be improved with more expensive (obviously better cards) like fetchlands, which allows your deck to have a more consistent mana base. You can swap out the fetchlands for the FRF lifeland, Tranquil Cove, or more basic lands, and swap out the Narset Transcendents for any other Blue or White Awaken/control spell. The rest of the deck is made up of rares that are less than $3 each.

Have you considered splashing red to allow for Jeskai Ascendancy? I brewed with it briefly but it is completely busted to use your land creatures to tap and cast spells only to untap them and pump them all while filtering your hand. Maybe trim a couple Anticipate to make room since it doesn't really offer any interaction early anyway which is what you really need buying time for the board wipe. I also like Slip Through Space as a good cantrip for Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper that replaces itself.

jkr97e, I had an idea for a variant of this deck splashing red, but I wasn't thinking Jeskai Ascendancy. I might have to try that out, seems really good!

I have a similar build with more awaken synergies, and a lot of recasting of spells

Isn't Overwhelming Denial bad in this deck? Why not just play 2 Void Shatters? Is because it can't be countered?
February 13, 2016 7:33 p.m.
VictorSilvertome says... #21
Thylian1, yeah. I've been considering kicking Overwhelming Denial for awhile now.
February 13, 2016 11:56 p.m.
If you still want a counterspell for that slot put in Void Shatter.

I don't think I need more counterspell, I have 4x Scatter to the Winds. I was thinking maybe Silkwrap or just adding more Reflector Mages

This seems sweet, but do Narset Transcendent and Jace, Unraveler of Secrets do much? they seem a little clunky for a deck that seems pretty fast.

VictorSilvertome says... #25
This deck is not fast. This deck usually plays 11+ turn games. The only way this deck would be fast is if I had a Thing in the Ice Flip and all 4 of our 1-drop sorceries. As far as Narset Transcendent, she is an important piece of our deck, and I have felt really comfortable having 1 Jace, Unraveler of Secrets.

I love myth realized! I recommend more counter spells in sideboard to protect from enchantment removal. Dispel is usually a cheap and effective answer. Good luck!
