This deck design started as a standard legal token / aggro deck that burned as creatures both entered and left play. I was trying to build around Purphoros, God of the Forge and Tymaret, the Murder King . As I was digging through cards that were standard legal I found some interesting mechanics with life gain and +1/+1 counters as creatures died that I thought would have good synergy with the deck play style. When I was done picking cards I had a deck well over 100. What you see above is what I cut it down to though there are many cards I wish I could have left. basic game play as follows:
First you want to bring out Herald of Anafenza to either block small creatures or start using outlast to make chump blockers.
Next you bring out Tymaret, the Murder King and Purphoros, God of the Forge so you can start burning just by bringing out other creatures and anytime you have to block you do so with a chump blocker but before damage is dealt you sacrifice the chump blockers to burn some more (provided you have the mana)
The rest of the cards are for either token generating or various support roles.
Some fun card synergies:
Howl of the Horde , use with either Raise the Alarm orHordeling Outburst to triple the tokens gained.
Enchant Wall of Limbs with Sunbond , if you have 2 Soulmender out thats 4 +1/+1 counters per turn
Enchant Brimaz, King of Oreskos with Eternal Thirst now swing away for some nice life gain witch makes your enchanted wall of limbs grow even faster. if your opponent tries to block Brimaz to kill him you sac a spirit with Spirit Bonds to keep him alive.
Swarm of Bloodflies could easily be replaced I just like the card so much and he would grow fast with all the sacing of tokens that I wanted to keep him. I think the mana cost may make him not worth keeping though.
Give me +1 upvotes if ya like the idea.
All criticisms and improvement suggestions welcome but if you are going to recommend a card please try to make a suggestion on what to remove for it.
