Once upon a time in Khans Standard I was extensively playing Temur deck. The super Aggro Ferocious deck, dropping 4/4 on turn 2. I kept the deck together in my deckbox ever since as I held it quite dear. I was not playing it anymore since it rotated out but still it was really dear to me.
Last month Hareruya introduced Frontier format and my heart started beating faster: "oh! Is it finally time to rebuild my Savege Knuckleblade deck?!" Turns out it is and here is what I came up with. Of course a lot of my old cards turned out not legal in Frontier: so I had to say goodbye to Temples in manabase, all those mana confluences, and a couple of Polukranoi. But hey, who's going to cry after Polukranos when you have Verdurous Gearhulk on the curve!
GAMEPLAN:The gameplan is to outrace your opponent by playing 4 attack creatures earlier than you opponent. An ideal game would look like that:Turn 1:Yavimaya coast, Elvish MysticTurn 2:Spirebluff Canal, Lathnu Hellion : attack for 4 (16 life)Turn 3:Mountain, Savage Knuckleblade (with Haste): Attack for 8 (8 life)Turn 4:Shivan Reef, Goldnight Castigator, Crater's Claws to the face, Attack for 8 (-2 life)
Of course, a good play is also to cast Rattleclaw Mystic as morph on turn 2 to get a mana explosion on turn 3 (that gives you Gearhulk on turn 3 and 1 mana free for another 1-drop). As support a couple of protection and removal spells. In general the deck tends to be a solid midrange-value tempo build, but if needed can play Aggro due to the number of boost to your creatures.
