Introduction

This is a fun multiplayer 25$ Gahiji, Honored One commander deck. My goal here is to try and build the most competitive Gahiji, Honored One deck I can for $25. He can help pump your opponent's creatures and make it a lot easier to quickly eliminate your opponents without you having to do anything.

Why Gahiji?

Obvious choices for a r/w/g token build in commander would be: Krenko, Mob Boss, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, and Rhys the Redeemed. I chose Gahiji, Honored One because it's not fast enough to be targeted and you can swing for lethal with an army of 1/1's when your opponent least expects it. A three color mana base is slightly difficult to build around with $25 but this deck has mana artifacts and ways to ramp and get the basic lands that you need.

Game plan

Early game you want to play things like Rampant Growth to get more land or Mogg War Marshal for creature tokens so that when you get out your commander you will have plenty of creatures to attack with. This deck isn't all in aggro but relies more on politics. You'l have your opponents fight each other as long as you can and when they are weakened you can finish them off. Later game you can play cards like Myr Battlesphere and win the next turn when you attack. Getting 5 bodies for is really good in this deck. Early game signets (Boros Signet, Selesnya Signet, Gruul Signet) are really good. They both fix your mana and get you more. In some games the best thing to do might not be to ramp into a Gahiji, Honored One as fast as you can. It might be better to amass an army then play Gahiji, Honored One as a Trumpet Blast effect.
