Tried some things —Jan. 29, 2015
Tried Windbrisk Heights - Tap land slowed it down too much, and I can't really explain it but it wasn't a good fit otherwise.
Added Nythos, Shrine to Nyx as a two of. It has the potential to allow a T4 Captain of the Watch or a T3 Hero of Bladehold if the right cards come first. But it has only been helpful.
The 3rd Cavern of Souls is in the mail. Looking forward to the addition.
Brimaz, King of Oreskos is on the buy list. But I'm still waiting until he falls out of standard.
Oblivion Ring moved to the sideboard. It will swap in and out with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben if needed.
Investigating Cloudshift as a counter-removal trick, and also as an additional ETB exploit with Captain of the Watch.

Almost forgot, Mana Tithe out of the side board will really catch control match ups off guard. No better feeling in the world when they tap out to play Sphinx's Revelation and you counter it.

Thanks for the feedback! I'd like Brimaz, King of Oreskos but having $80 for a playset just isn't happening for a while. Hero of Bladehold will have to do until he drops in price, or the March-April timeframe. I'm picking up the 4th Cavern soon, though. Its next on the buylist.
Will reincorporate Ballyrush Banneret and do some more play testing.
Would you think Soldier of the Pantheon > Champion of the Parish here? I was looking at him also for a sub for Gideon's Lawkeeper.

In this deck Champion of the Parish would be fine because you have more than enough humans to trigger him. I took him out because I ended up going g/w and he didn't trigger enough. Here's a link to mine, had to repost it so no side board yet. Deleted it a while back to make room for more deck ideas now wish I hadn't. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/selesnya-soldier-aggro/

When I built this deck a while back I just hated Hero of Bladehold The fact that she's not a soldier really hurt the synergy of the deck. I went with Brimaz, King of Oreskos and it was an immediate improvement. Being able to cheat him in helps soooo much, also, I found that Gideon's Lawkeeper just wasn't good enough. He's only good against aggresive match ups and they all have enough turn one removal to just make him obsolete. I ended up going with Soldier of the Pantheon as my one drop, his ability is surprisingly effective in modern and a 2/1 with pro multicolor is better than a 1/1 that can't use it's ability until turn 2 anyday. As far as the rest of your build I would add in Ballyrush Banneret, making all of your soldiers cheaper really gives you the ability to race that you normally wouldn't have, 1 more Cavern of Souls is almost essential since you want to shut down Remand, Cryptic Command, and Mana Leak asap, and To Arms! because it's card draw in white. Brave the Elements should be main board for you because all of your creatures are sensitive to early game removal and you need to keep them on the board fighting, Launch the Fleet is way to slow I found in my testing, and I would go down to 2 Honor of the Pure no worse feeling than having a dead draw like that when you don't need it.
