The elder ones have awoken, cosmic evil stirs, the dawn of ash is here. Everything you ever loved, everyone who is dear to you, all beauty and life shall cease to exists. Only ashes will remain.

Glimpse the incomprehensible and slip into madness. Shadows close in, whispering in your ears. Vision slowly blurs and then comes into focus again but everything is slightly off, angles do not make sense, everything is skewed. Colours are washed out and go in eerie shades. Things move slightly when they shouldn't.

A babble of whispers tell you to "open the gates" and to "let them in".

At a later time a note is found. The note states:

"Give them all the treasures, they come, they come, they come.

The lords of ashes come, the titans of the unknown.

Our salvation and our destruction is here, welcome them with open arms.

I finally see that ashen glow, I see the tentacles, they"

Beside the note is a pile of ash.

Do you enjoy turning your opponents board states into ash (annihilator)?

Do you enjoy huge threats that are difficult to deal with?

I recently came back after a hiatus and am now looking to make this deck a bit faster and more consistent. Unless I get a good hand with ramp this deck feels like it does a lot of nothing till it gets to 4 or even 5 mana.

Basic idea is to ramp hard and then play all the big boys in the deck.

The only infinite combo is Rings of Brighthearth and Basalt Monolith but I'm not looking for any more really, I just want to drop the biggies and go to town.

Kozilek as commander is great cause if the opponents don't kill him, he will mess them up badly with annihilator 4 besides being a 12/12 which is kinda hard to deal with in the first place. If they do kill him then we just replay him and get even more mana so we can replay him when he's killed. Sooner or later he'll stick.
