Here is my first deck!

The idea starting with one of the first boosters I bought, the rare it containded was Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. Then it all started, I started collecting information on what others had done in token decks. how they use the populate ability to make an army. what they're mana base was and why. How they handeled different decks. And most importantly, what cards they used.

firstly i'll go over the mana base of this deck.

Sunpetal Grove

One of my favorite land cards, not only because the effect, (which in this deck really helps because there are not really any 1 drops) but also because of the amazing art! the strategy with this card is to put a either Forest or Plains card on the battle field and using this one to fill up the remainder of the two colors on turn two. So you can get the so much desired Voice of Resurgence or Call of the Conclave on the battlefield.

Temple Garden

At first glance i wasn't to fond of this card, I mean you need to pay 2 life to get it going straight away. Ofcourse you don't have to, put i down tapped at turn one and there is no problem. however i has started to grow on me, smply beacause in a pinch its just like Sunpetal Grove if you dont have the right type of mana, just pay 2 live and Tah-Dah theres the right color! needlessly to say it has save my life more than once.

Temple of Plenty

Having the abillity to scry away unwanted cards is aways a nice thing, it gives you a little control over what you'll draw into. very nice!

Grove of the Guardian

It's a nice finisher, with a Parallel Lives up and a good target for Trostani, Selesnya's Voice aswell. however its a bit on the expensive side (you need to tap 5 mana sacrifice you land and tap 2 creatures) so thats why there are only two of them in here.
