Stack life loss effects, especially those that punish people for having creatures and rake in the cards. Gets more powerful the larger the pod is. Minor sub theme of discard. Drawing a bunch of cards isn't much of an advantage if your opponent has a full hand. The idea is to maximize the advantage you have over your opponents and bleed them out before they realize you're a threat.

Have to be careful about making to many enemies too fast. Remember, damage to your opponents is a part of the game in multiplayer, so just be content to draw if they're bashing each other.
