Giant Steps

a collection of curious and chaotic sorceries

This is a high octane, heavy sorcery, no creature, WUBRG deck created to cast giant spells. It contains a full set of tri lands, "enemy colored" pain lands, panorama lands, and signets to be able to effectively create stacks of WUBRG mana. These stacks can be used to cast whatever with Jodah, Archmage Eternal. However, you might still need to do some quick mathfs to make your land piles sum up to the correct colors. The win condition is combat damage, which is attainable via token creators. Therefore the game plan should first and foremost be to create tokens.

Other types of spells featured here are: boardwipes for efficient destruction, removal spells for more precise destruction, and other smaller categories such as draw, ramp, and utility. There are a lot of good cards that have been dropped from this decklist due to being too strong, and the deck is still quite strong, so I have no current plans to improve it. The deck might obviously still lose pretty hard to certain types of decks, such as blue counterspell control.

This deck is a continuation of another deck I have here on tappedout called Pinball Wizard. Pinball Wizard turned out to be waay to strong, which led to it not being very fun to play with; So after trying several times to reduce the strength of it I decided to rather just swap out the commander for Jodah. I guess I could have made these changes to that deck, but it felt better to just start a new one, especially since the changes are so severe. Anyways, the deck in this current form works great and is much more fun and balanced to play!

The budet is ~100$ total, but really just want to push the price down as low as possible. Sub 65$ seems good. Max 2$ per card (with exceptions). I use Cardkingdom prices.

Suggestions are welcome, but I will only accept suggestions of cards that seem fun to play and play against. I will not add: tutors, symetrical boardwipes or boardwipes without choices, extra turn spells, random cheat cost spells (ex: play top of library for free), or anything that makes my turn take a lot of time.
