The general concept around this deck is to capitalize on Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale's ability to equip knights for free. As such, the deck is heavy on equipment as well as cards that bank on artifacts being present and ways to fetch those handy swords, shields, and armor. I personally found that unlike Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir, who easily can run Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, this deck struggled to consistently play Haakon as pretty much the only way to get him a graveyard was to put in cards to force that interaction. Without him present, a good deal of effort was put into protecting my boardstate as a sword and shield can not wield itself and the deck stalls if there are not creatures to equip. Thus, a good deal of effort was put into ensure there is a good balance between offensive/defensive capabilities.
