@ hackerheck eehh, kinda risky. I get the efficiency side of it, but against some decks, it is nothing but value for them. Mainly any deck w/ instant speed removal. Both Abzan and Esper Dragons have plenty, and they are some of the top decks right now. I'll stick to my fair, efficient creatures.

@sunsleader Erase has been in there since I lost to a Jeskai Ascendency combo deck when they were at 1 life. Also hits Banishing Light, gods and many other good stuffs. I could look for some replacements for Glare of Heresy though.

I'd say this is a pretty good deck. I'm wondering how it preforms at fnm though.

@Green_Ghost Thanks, I would say so too ;) But, I have had life issues with getting to my local shop. (nothing bad just... other stuff going on). I'll be sure to post the results when I can get it done.

what about display of dominance as a sideboard against esper or blue/black control

@sunsleader I had that card in the online version of it, but I di not have it in paper. I will try to get some, probably in place of Glare of Heresy.

i don't know about 4 warden of the first tree, i would only run 2 at most. also maybe consider duress if your eon a budget, it takes care of removal and walkers so its pretty good for that, good deck though

@ WillTheThrill007: I know what you mean about Warden of the First Tree. It has been underperforming, but I really don't want to go down on creatures.

Den protector is a very strong card Imo in case they remove a death dealer bc that dealer late game just wrecks all day

I Like how the creature base is working right now, sunsleader. Might consider him when standard rotates. I do get Den Protector's power, I just like what I have going better.

Thanks UpperDeckerTaco. I finally put some money into it ;)

As for the title, welcome to Tarkir.

I'd say lose 2 Abzan Charm and put in 2 Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit. There nice to (obviously) bolster the team.
My deck has a similar build, feel free to check it out. And In This Corner...

Rayne0455 For now, I like the balance between interaction and powerful creatures, but that is a potentially epic two drop post-rotation. a gap I am going to need to fill w/o Fleecemane Lion. maybe a counter creature swarm build... anyways, thanks for the idea

Den Protector is pretty powerful, so maybe it would justify taking out the Herald of Torments, as they aren't great value.

devotiontoblue, Den Protector is a card I am thinking on post rotation. But, until then, The Herald has proved amazing. The evasion late game almost always ends it. Then, when you put it on a monstroused Fleecemane Lion or Rakshasa Deathdealer with mana up, it becomes incredibly difficult for the opponent to deal with. (I just won a game vs Elspeth, Sun's Champion with it)

Ever think of den protector as an anti control card also gets back anything from rhinos to your interaction

Nice concept. But I can't say Collected Company fits in here whatsoever. You have 17 creatures to snatch. Mathematically speaking you'll be disappointed.
